 Art of the Cocktail - October 13-15, 2012.

Enormous growth was the hallmark of the 2011 Art of the Cocktail
as we reached out to more key industry people as well as the general public.

The leap forward includes 637 attendees at the Grand Tasting an increase of 49%!
Attendees came from Victoria, Vancouver and the lower mainland, Calgary, Seattle, Olympic Peninsula,
New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and London.

Of the 16 workshops eleven of them sold out including Barrel-Aged Cocktails, The Science of Smell and Going Against the Grain. - definitely bigger rooms are in store for us next year! Industry attendance was 148 up 26% from the previous year.

Top workshop presenters included Philip Duff, Jeffrey Morgenthaler, Christine Sismondo, Ron Cooper and Darcy O’Neil.

The Best of the Pacific Northwest Bartender Competition saw Josh Boudreau take top prize at Veneto.
Nine competitors took the stage and charmed, joked and captured the standing room only crowd.

The inaugural Best Home Bartender Award went home with Janice Mansfield.
